Lacanche authentic French stoves are individually made to your specifications. This unique, old-world manufacturing practice distinguishes Lacanche products from other mass-produced, mass-marketed appliances. Each order requires the hand-built attention of skilled and passionate craftsmen.
Deposits. Because each stove is built to order, a 40% deposit is required at the time the order is placed. Please keep in mind, the custom nature of each order necessitates non-refundable deposits.
Manufacturing. Production time for each unit varies between 9 to 12 weeks with additional time required for delivery. An estimated completion date is provided by the factory within two days of your order. Art Culinaire will attempt to forward any new information effecting your order immediately, upon receipt.
Change Orders. In order to maintain the manufacturing integrity of each order, change orders require a completely new order. Additional charges will apply if changes are desired after your order has been registered with the factory.
Final Payment. Your account balance, including freight charges, is required prior to the stove being released for shipment. In order to prevent added expense and delay, you may pre-authorize final payment via VISA, AMEX or MasterCard.
Irregularities. Although slight irregularities are part of the manufacturing process, we are happy to address any questions you may have regarding the workmanship of your stove. Please do not hesitate to contact our staff at any point in the order and delivery process. Every effort will be made to fulfill your high expectations.
